We will discuss recent feminist theoretical work on a variety of topics, such as equality, agency and autonomy, freedom of speech, sexual harassment and abortion. Readings will come mostly from the philosophical and legal literatures. Seminar participants will be expected to attend regularly, participate actively, and to write a term paper. Enrollment is by permission of the instructor.
