Prerequisite or co-requisite: Law 211. Evidence.
This course is designed for students who intend to engage in a civil litigation practice. The course focuses on the practical and theoretical aspects of preparing for, taking and defending depositions in civil cases. Special emphasis is given to deposing hostile witnesses. Students will prepare for, take and defend depositions in simulated cases. The course will be graded on a pass/no pass basis.
