Dear UCLA Law Classmates,

I am thrilled to invite everyone to attend the UCLA Law Alumni Reunion on June 1, 2013!

Dean Moran and the entire Reunion Committee will be on hand to welcome alumni from '63, '68, '73, '78, '83, '88, '93, '98, '03, and '08, as we come together with our extended law school family. Over the course of the weekend we will have our Law Alumni of the Year Award Luncheon, a reception for all of our reunion alums, and a dinner for each class at the Law School. Join us and see why UCLA continues to be a center of innovation and achievement as you catch up with old friends, visit with professors, and share memories.

The UCLA School of Law is one of the most dynamic law schools in the nation, with outstanding programs and incredibly bright students. It is because of my pride in this great institution that I feel especially compelled to support UCLA Law each year.  State support for UCLA Law continues to drop, and the law school now operates with only 25% of its budget from state funding – down from almost full funding in 1986. Despite these challenges, UCLA School of Law is thriving.

I feel a great depth of gratitude to UCLA School of Law for the education I received.  For those of us who graduated in the earlier years, UCLA School of Law gave us an incredible law school experience for a fraction of what we would have paid at any other elite law school.  We owe our present careers and success to the education we received at UCLA School of Law.  It is time to give back.

Please join me in donating to the Reunion Challenge.  Not only does your donation make an outstanding law school education possible for this generation and others to follow, but it helps boost our national ranking, assuring our place among the top law schools in the country. So in addition to attending the reunion in June, I also encourage you to make a gift in honor of your reunion.

Plan on attending the Reunion on Saturday, June 1, 2013! Also, please reflect upon the impact your education at UCLA Law has made on your life! I know that my law school education has helped me in countless ways and continues to be a tremendous asset.

So please register for the reunion now, spread the good word and honor your reunion class with your financial commitment to UCLA Law.  Check back soon for more information on the 2013 UCLA Law Reunion.

Sincerely,
