Dear UCLA Law Alumni,

As a graduate of the class of 1965, I am honored to serve as the 2015 National Chair for the Reunion Challenge. Our reunion will be a remarkable occasion to celebrate the UCLA Law classes of the “5s and 0s”. We will catch up with old friends and experience today’s extraordinary UCLA Law academic community firsthand. It is my goal to ensure that we have a great turnout, that everyone enjoys rekindling ties with the UCLA Law family and that we help strengthen our growing community of law school graduates.

Reunions are a great way to reconnect with former classmates, friends and faculty members. If you haven’t visited recently, you will be impressed with how the law school has grown and changed. I look back on law school as a great time in my life, largely due to my classmates and wonderful professors. It’s always fun to hear other people share their stories from law school and to reminisce over photos from our law school days.

I ask, first and foremost, that you please attend our reunion. Also, please join me in making a meaningful gift to the school in honor of your class. Your gift is helping UCLA Law remain a destination for the best and the brightest. Participation is a clear indicator of your confidence in the law school. It is time to give back. I feel a great depth of gratitude to UCLA School of Law for the education I received. UCLA School of Law launched our careers and contributed to our current success.

Our goal for the 2015 Reunion Challenge is to surpass the results of earlier efforts, and to achieve the highest possible levels of participation and giving for each reunion class. Your gift is helping UCLA Law remain a destination for the best and the brightest. Participation is a clear indicator of your confidence in the law school.

I hope that you will join me and make a meaningful commitment to our school. All gifts made from July 1, 2014 through June 30, 2015 will be counted toward your class giving totals. Visit the Reunion Challenge Campaign for more information.

All my best,

A. Barry Cappello ’65
