APALJ: Submissions

submissions

APALJ covers issues both of a topical and a general nature. The editors invite readers to submit legal, scholarly articles with each fact and proposition footnoted. The editors will also consider articles written in unconventional law review format that address events or problems in the Asian Pacific American community.

Manuscripts should be double-spaced with a title page showing the author's name, address, telephone number, and professional background. In addition, authors should provide brief abstracts of their pieces. Citations must conform to A Uniform System of Citation (18th ed. 2005). Writers should keep a copy of their manuscript to facilitate editorial revisions. APALJ requires notification if any part of the manuscript has been previously published or submitted elsewhere. Manuscripts will not be returned.

APALJ requests contributing authors to disclose any economic interests or affiliations which may have influenced the positions they take in the articles.

If possible, submissions should be sent by email, addressed to apalj@lawnet.ucla.edu with the word "submission" in the subject header. Manuscripts may also be sent by mail, addressed to:
