UCLA Business Law Association is a student organization whose purpose is to promote scholarship and discussion in the field of business law and its related subjects, to provide opportunities for its members to interact with peers and professionals in this field, and to assist in providing business legal services to underserved communities.

BLA consists of four departments: Publications, Symposia, Social Affairs, and Small Business Legal Services

We plan to publish a wide variety of material, including scholarly articles, symposium proceedings, student comments, and works in progress. These publications will be produced by the student association with guidance and input from faculty sponsors to insure a high quality of work and relevance to the business law community. In addition, the BLA will sponsor and organize lectures and symposia throughout the school year. We hope to bring in both legal experts as well as business leaders to address issues of concern to the legal community. The BLA will also work in conjunction with faculty, professionals, and local community legal organizations to establish a Small Business Legal Services. The hope is that through the SBLS the Association can help contribute to local economic development by aiding those who might not otherwise be able to afford necessary legal services. Finally, the BLA will build and maintain relationships with UCLA business law practitioners and alumni in order to provide BLA members with a source of guidance and support in their legal careers.

We invite you to look around and see the exciting work in which the Association is engaged. If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, please let us know.
