Approximately 500 second and third-year JD, joint degree and LLM students participate in the Fall On-Campus Interviewing programs.  Early OCIP will be held the week of August 5-8, 2013  at the Hotel Angeleno, 170 N. Church Lane Los Angeles, CA 90049, a few miles from the UCLA campus at the 405 & Sunset Blvd.

Interviews for the Second Session of Fall OCI will take place  at the UCLA School of Law Library beginning September 2, 2013.

To access your UCLA Early OCI interview schedules online on Symplicity after July 29th:

  • Log on to Symplicity
  • Click on OCI
  • Click on Confirmed Schedules
  • Choose Session (Early OCI, 2013) from the drop-down
  • Click on the plus sign to choose all (or just one)
  • Click Generate Schedule/Applicant Packet
  • Answer yes to both questions and click on resume; submit request
  • Click on Applicant/Waitlist
  • Choose Session (Early OCI, 2013) from the drop-down
  • Click on the plus sign to choose all
  • Go to Batch Options - Generate Resume/Applicant Packet
  • Click on Generate Book
  • Submit Request

You will get an email when both packets are ready to print. NOTE:  please check your spam mail if you do not receive an email within 10 minutes of requesting the packet. Please note that updated schedules, which include changes due to cancellations or additions, will be available the morning of your interviews in the check-in room at the hotel.

Early OCI interviews will take place at the Hotel Angeleno just a few miles from UCLA at Sunset Blvd and the 405 Freeway.  Please allow extra time for parking and check-in.

  • Please enter the Hotel Valet Parking Area and Mention Your Firm’s Name to Gain Complimentary Access to Parking.

Take the lobby elevator to the 16 th Floor, Bel Air Boardroom, to register and receive your room key and your current interview schedule. 


  • Each room has an individual coffee maker.  
  • Lunch will be served in the Canyon Room on the 17 th Floor between noon and 2:00 p.m.
  • Any room service you order will have to be paid for on the spot, as interview rooms are pre-paid, eliminating the need for you to check out at the end of the day.
  • The West Restaurant & Lounge on the top floor is generally open unless otherwise reserved, but please note that students will be present. 

The Hotel requires that all rooms be vacated by 6:00 p.m. due to contractual cleaning agreements.  There is no need for you to check out at the end of the day. Room keys may be left in the rooms, and housekeeping will pick them up for recycling.

Wireless access is available throughout the hotel.  Limited printing services will be available in the Business Center on the first floor.   Fed Ex & UPS may be sent from the Hotel with a self-addressed and paid form.


UCLA School of Law Office of Career Services invites potential employers to interview students on-campus during Spring Semester.  In addition, we offer our Resume Collect Program to those employers who may not choose not to conduct interviews at the law school but who are interested in receiving resumes from UCLA Law students.
