There exist an array of opportunities for students to become involved in public interest programs and activities both at the School of Law, on the larger UCLA campus, and in the greater Los Angeles community. The Office serves as the principal information center for these programs and activities. Throughout the year, the Office advises students of upcoming programs and activities via its regular calendar of public interest programs and events and postings on the public interest bulletin board in the School of Law’s first-floor main hallway.
The Office, together with the School of Law’s Office of Career Services, maintains information about existing public interest opportunities -- academic year volunteer opportunities, paid and non-paid summer internships, academic year externships, post-graduate fellowships, and post-graduate full-time employment. Additionally, students can access current public interest job listings -- summer, part-time and full-time – via a web-based database.
