Students are expected to check the exam calendar before enrolling in classes; it is their responsibility to choose courses with a satisfactory exam schedule. A complete exam schedule listing precise exam times and rooms will be posted on this site and across from the Records Office window during the last week of classes. Exams clustered on consecutive days will not be moved. Students with two exams scheduled on the same day may consult with the Dean of Students about the possibility of postponing one of those exams to the following day.
Law students are expected to appear at or turn in an examination at the stated time and place. Failure to do so will result in a grade of “F” (Fail). If a student is unable to appear for an examination at the proper time, they must contact the Dean of Students Office at (310) 825-4891. Any excuse granted on grounds of illness or other physical disability is conditioned upon receiving a satisfactory medical note within a reasonable time.
Students who have self-identified and registered with the campus Office for Students with Disabilities (OSD) and have been granted special examination conditions, should e-mail the law school Dean of Students as soon as they receive confirmation of examination accommodations from OSD. In consultation with OSD, the Office of the Dean for Students will make the necessary exam arrangements.
