Please consider the following when changing/resetting your LawNET password:

Your password must meet the following minimum requirements:

Password cannot contain all or part of the username

Cannot contain user's first or last name

Must be at least 8 characters in length

Must contain characters from at least 3 of the following categories:

English uppercase characters (A through Z)

English lowercase characters (a through z)

Base 10 digits (0 through 9)

Special Characters (., $, #, !, %, etc.)

If you use an e-mail client (Outlook, Thunderbird, Mac Mail, etc.) or mobile device (iphone, Blackberry, Palm Pre, etc.) that saves your password so that you can check your mail, you will need to change your saved password to the one you have just created.

4. My account seems to be locked out. What can I do?

For security reasons, after the third failed attempt at logging on to the network or LawNET email system, your LawNET account is locked out for 15 minutes before you can make another attempt at logging on again. Please keep this in mind whenever logging on to the network or email system and be very careful when typing your LawNET username and password.

5. Is printing associated with my LawNET account?

Yes, your printing balance is associated to your LawNET account. At the beginning of each academic year, law students receive a $150 credit to their printing balance. Any printing charges incurred that exceed the initial credit will be billed to the student's BAR account. For more information about printing, please click on the following link:
