Students who plan to use their laptop computer to take exams will be required to install and use examination security software (Examsoft). The software restricts access to all other computer files during an exam. Students must attend a training session and have the software installed and operational by the posted deadline. Students are required to arrive fifteen minutes prior to the start of the examination and should set up their laptops in the appropriate room. The law school does not assume responsibility for the security of laptops.
Students are responsible for mitigating problems related to computer malfunctions. A student whose PC malfunctions will be expected to hand-write the examination in bluebooks. If an individual student's PC malfunctions, the start of the examination will not be delayed nor will they be given extra time.
