Alison Fischer Silvers will co-teach the Ninth Circuit Appellate Practice Clinic. She was recently a senior associate at O’Melveny & Myers LLP in Los Angeles, where her areas of practice included criminal defense and international civil litigation.
Fischer Silvers received her B.A. from Stanford University in International Relations in 1999. She earned her J.D. from UCLA School of Law in 2006, where she was Editor of the UCLA Law Review, and a staff member of the Entertainment Law Review. Following law school Fischer Silvers clerked for the Honorable Kim McLane Wardlaw of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Fischer Silvers has previously assisted in teaching the Ninth Circuit Appellate Practice Clinic.
