Victor Jih will co-teach the Ninth Circuit Appellate Practice Clinic.  He is a partner at O’Melveny & Myers LLP.  His areas of practice include entertainment, copy right and trademark, First Amendment, unfair competition, and contract. In addition to being a partner, he is currently a member of the Business Trial and Litigation Practice and member of The American Lawyer’s 2004 “Litigation Department of the Year.”

Jih’s professional experience includes: representation of major motion picture studios; opposition against the blocking of the California Gubernatorial Recall Election; trade dress infringement; international entertainment and media; bipartisan leadership of the House of Representatives on copyright issues; and commercial disputes on behalf of and against foreign companies, in cases involving laws of foreign jurisdictions, documents, and language depositions. Jih is a member of Los Angeles Film Teachers Association and Century City Employment Committee.

He received his B.A. with distinction and honors in Political Science and Ethics in Society from Stanford University and his J.D. from Harvard Law School magna cum laude.
