Robert A. Jordan
Professor of Law Emeritus

Robert Jordan was Co-Reporter and Co-Draftsman, with Professor William Warren, of the
Uniform Consumer Credit Code from 1964 to 1970. He served as Associate Dean of the UCLA School of Law from 1968 to 1969.
Professor Jordan practiced as an associate at the New York firm of White & Case from 1953 to 1959, as Visiting Professor at Cornell during 1962– 63, and as a Fulbright Lecturer at the University of Pisa for 1967– 68.
Professor Jordan's primary area of research was commercial law. He co-authored, with Professor William Warren,
Commercial Law (four editions since 1983);
Negotiable Instruments, Payments, and Credits (four editions since 1983); and
Secured Transactions in Personal Property (four editions since 1983).
