Professor Babbe assists in teaching Negotiation Theory & Practice and upper division clinical courses. Babbe was formerly a litigation partner at Morrison & Foerster, where he served as managing partner of the firm’s Los Angles office and chair of the Los Angeles litigation department.  While in private practice, he handled complex litigation matters with special emphasis in the areas of professional liability and insurance coverage.

He received recognition from Chambers USA (2004-09) and Best Lawyers of America (2006-09) for ratings in insurance practice. He was a lecturer at CLE and ABA presentations, conducted annual training sessions in California Insurance Code, and participated in the 2010 UCLA School of Law mentoring program.

Babbe received his B.A. in History and Philosophy from University of California at Irvine  magna cum laude  and his J.D. from UCLA School of Law where he received Order of the Coif; graduating Second in Class.
