Amirhassan Boozari teaches Islamic Law, Constitutionalism & Democracy in Iran. He served as a part-time adjunct professor at David N. Meyers University in the Paralegal Department from 2003-04, where, as a member of a working group of five professors, he participated in planning two major programs on ‘International Relations’ and ‘International Business’ for graduate students.  Boozari was Legal Advisor to a Parliamentary Commission for the Islamic Consultant Assembly in Tehran, Iran from 1990-92, and then worked as Director and Supervisor of Boozari & Associates from 1993-2001. 

Boozari's main areas of research are: comparative constitutionalism, Islamic law, International Human Rights, and democratic transition in Muslim countries. His dissertation was on "Constitutionalism in Iran" and is going to be published by Palgrave Mcmillan.
