Law 585A - Seminar: Advanced Law and Literature

Enrollment is limited to students have completed "568. American Political Thought" or "585. Seminar: Law and Literature", or to students who receive consent from the instructor. Such consent should be sought as early as possible in the fall semester and will be granted only upon an unusually compelling statement of reasons.

This seminar is intended primarily for students who have completed the basic seminar in law and literature and who wish to continue their studies in a more intensive and student-driven setting. Because students will have expressed their interest in the seminar in advance, the content and format of the seminar will be determined collectively by the students and the instructor. Each student will also design his or her own individual research project and will participate actively as a commentator and critic in the research projects of the other students in the seminar.
