The editors invite readers to submit articles.  The Journal intends to publish issues both of a topical and of a general nature.  The editors welcome articles of a legal, scholarly nature, with each fact and proposition footnoted.  The editors will also consider articles written in other than conventional law review format covering events or problems in the field of environmental and land use law and policy.

Manuscripts submitted in hard copy should be triple-spaced, leaving wide margins and including a title page showing the author’s name, address, telephone number, and professional background, and an abstract of the article.  Citations must conform to A Uniform System of Citations (18th ed. 2005).  Writers should keep a copy of the manuscript to facilitate editorial revision.  The Journal requires notification if any part of the manuscript has been previously published or submitted elsewhere.  Manuscripts will not be returned.

Manuscripts submitted electronically should be sent to jelp@lawnet.ucla.edu, in Microsoft Word format.  A curriculum vitae should accompany the manuscript.  Due to the volume of submissions, we regret that we are unable to confirm receipt of every submission.

The Journal requests contributing authors to disclose any economic interests and affiliations which may have influenced the positions they take in articles.
