While the principal goal of La Raza is to provide academic support for its members, we try to make sure that your success in law school is balanced with a healthy dose of stress relief and friendship.
Some of our social events
this year have included the annual welcome reception for the
incoming 1st year class, movie screenings, as well as People's Coalition and Women's coalition gatherings.
We are especially focused on expanding our
circle of friends/contacts by organizing activities in conjunction with other
organizations. For example, the welcome reception was shared with the Black Law Students
Association, the American Indian Law Students Association, and the Asian/Pacific
Islander Law Students Association.
