WOMEN'S COALITION

The La Raza Women's Coalition was established in 1993.  The women of La Raza, concerned with the  unique difficulties, obstacles, and experiences shared by Latinas in law school, came together to provide an informal forum for members to talk with one another.

La Raza women are invited to attend bi-monthly social gatherings held on Thursday's throughout the semester.  The purpose of the gatherings is to give the Women of La Raza the opportunity to voice their particular and specific concerns regarding the obstacles facing Latinas in law school and in the legal profession.   Women's Coalition provides an opportunity for members of the Coalition to share, support, and encourage one another through their individual and collective experiences.
