Carson Leonard:

Mr. Leonard is a Partner in the Real Estate Finance and Investment Group at the Alston & Bird Los Angeles office.  He represents banks and institutional investors in the origination, servicing, sale, and restructure of commercial real estate debt. He works on portfolio, syndicated and securitization transactions. He has served as lender’s lead counsel in several of the largest stand-alone real estate financings in recent years.  Previously, Mr. Leonard was a practitioner at Dechert LLP in New York and has 15 years of Wall Street experience.  He received his J.D. from Columbia University, his M.B.A. from Cornell University, and his B.A. from Duke University.
Gary Duff:

Mr. Duff is the Executive Director of Morgan Stanley’s Principal Transactions Group and the head of its west coast operations.  He focuses primarily on originating fixed and floating rate debt, distribution, and asset management.  Mr. Duff was previously the Vice President at Commercial Capital Initiative Inc., GMAC’s real estate conduit operation.  Prior to GMAC, he was an associate at Greystone Realty, New York Life’s real estate equity advisor.  He received his M.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his B.A. from UCLA.

Courtney Wright:

Ms. Wright is a Senior Associate in the Alston & Bird Los Angeles office.  She practices in the Real Estate Finance & Investment Group.  She focuses on real estate finance and capital markets, representing institutional lenders and investment banks in originating commercial mortgage loans, mezzanine loans and loan restructurings.  She received her J.D. from Fordham Law and her B.A. from UCLA.
