UCLA Law Recognized for Efforts to Help Fight Hunger in Los Angeles

​June 27, 2012 –UCLA School of Law was recognized with three awards for the law school’s efforts to help fight hunger in Los Angeles. In the annual Food From The Bar Campaign, which raises funds and collects food for the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, the law school won the Silver Partner Award for total points earned, the Cornucopia Award for donating the largest amount of food, and received the Best Overall Law School Award.

UCLA Law raised $1,390, collected twelve boxes of food and volunteered 72 hours at the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank warehouse.

The Food From The Bar Campaign is sponsored by the Los Angeles Food Bank and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
