UCLA Students Take 2nd Place at Environmental Negotiations Competition

UCLA 2L students Ryan Berghoff and Heather Leslie placed second out of 18 teams at the California State Bar Association's Annual Environmental Negotiations Competition.  The Competition gives students experience working with the kinds of issues that they may encounter in future environmental practice.  This year's competition addressed water and land contamination, land use, and species protection issues.  Twelve California schools participated.

Ryan and Heather received a $500 prize.  UC-Berkeley took first place.
