Professor Crenshaw Urges President Obama to Expand My Brother's Keeper Initiative to Girls and Women of Color

June 20, 2014 -- Professor Kimberle Crenshaw and a group or organizers have been working in an attempt to reshape President Obama’s "My Brother’s Keeper Initiative," a public/private initiative the president launched to address a range of inequality problems affecting boys and young men of color. The group is encouraging the president to expand the initiative to include girls and young women of color.  Their efforts have been widely cited in media reports, including in a Washington Post blog article.
