Leo Trujillo-Cox Appointed to Law School Admission Council’s Diversity Committee
July 27, 2011 – Leo Trujillo-Cox, UCLA School of Law’s executive director of academic outreach and development, and associate director of admissions and recruitment, was appointed to the Law School Admission Council’s (LSAC) Diversity Committee. The LSAC Diversity Committee is involved in programs to expand the representation of minority law school applicants and enhance their opportunities for law school admission and success.
Leo, who graduated from UCLA Law in 1997, is committed to community outreach, education and organizing, and to ensuring academic equity, access to education and excellence in legal education both in California and nationally. As the head of UCLA Law’s Academic Outreach Resource Center, he works on a range of initiatives to increase and maintain diversity in the legal community.
Leo has served the Law School Admission Council in various capacities, including as a panelist at numerous annual meetings, as a member of the Minority Affairs Subcommittee on New Initiatives and as a Pipeline Models Conference Planning Committee member.
