Professor Crenshaw Comments on Racial Disparity in the Justice System in a Black Voice News Article
August 29, 2013 -- Professor Kimberle Crenshaw discussed the racial disparity commonly found in the criminal justice system following the George Zimmerman trial.
"When jurors assess the reasonableness of the claim of self-defense, that assessment can't help but have race and gender dimensions to it," said Kimberle Crenshaw, a law professor at the University of California Los Angeles.
