"Welcome to the Fair Housing in Los Angeles website. This site was built and is maintained by the Fair Housing Congress of Southern California for the Fair Housing Councils of Los Angeles County. The Fair Housing Congress has begun an education and outreach campaign to increase the awareness of fair housing in Los Angeles County. This website will serve as one of the informational outlets that will be utilized in this campaign. We will update and expand this site regularly to provide timely and important information about Fair Housing in Los Angeles."

"The National Fair Housing Alliance (NFHA) was founded in 1988. NFHA is a consortium of private, non-profit fair housing organizations from throughout the United States dedicated to promoting equal housing, lending and insurance opportunities through education, enforcement, training, and research. Despite the passage in 1968 of the federal Fair Housing Act, the problem of housing discrimination remains one of America's most intractable problems. Nothing in the history of our country equals the destructive force of residential segregation. Nothing has undermined the domestic tranquility and unity of our country more than American apartheid in all its forms."
"The National Fair Housing Advocate Online is a resource designed to serve both the fair housing advocacy community and the general public with timely news and information regarding the issues of housing discrimination. This site is maintained by the Tennessee Fair Housing Council with financial assistance from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development."
