National Sexual Orientation Law Moot Court Competition Click here to register online for the annual update, book party or moot court competition. Please join us for the William's Project's Fourth Annual Update on Sexual Orientation Law and Public Policy. This year's Annual Update will feature a keynote address by the Honorable Jeffrey Amestoy, former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Vermont, who authored the opinion that resulted in Vermont's civil union legislation. Other featured speakers include Congressman Barney Frank; CA Assemblymember Mark Leno; Freedom to Marry's Evan Wolfson; the Williams Project's Bill Rubenstein, Brad Sears, and Dr. Gary Gates; and Lambda Legal's Jon Davidson and Jenny Pizer. Immediately after the Annual Update, we invite you to attend our Annual Book Party in the UCLA School of Law Library. During this year's book party and cocktail reception, we will celebrate a tremendous year, both for the LGBT rights movement and the Williams Project. Funds raised during the book party will support the growth of The Williams Project into The Williams Institute during 2005. General registration for the Annual Update is free. Tickets to the Annual Book Party are available for $50 each and event sponsorships start at $1,000. Practitioners who attend the Annual Update will earn 5.0 units of CLE credit for a registration fee of $150.00, which includes a ticket to the Annual Book Party. The UCLA School of Law is a State Bar of California-approved MCLE provider. Download the program brochure and reply card in PDF format.
