Celebrating UCLA Law
Review's 1966 Study of Police Harassment of Gay Men
In March 1966, the UCLA Law
Review published the first law review article ever on a
sexual orientation law issue, “The Consenting Adult
Homosexual and the Law: An Empirical Study of
Enforcement and Administration in Los Angeles County.”
This panel will bring together the article’s original
authors and current and past representatives of the LAPD.
