This year, the UCLA School of Law Moot Court Executive Board and the
Williams Project are hosting the 1st Annual National Sexual Orientation Law
Moot Court Competition. Twenty teams form ABA accredited law schools form
across the country will compete against each other, briefing and arguing
whether the federal constitution requires that marriage be extended to
same-sex couples. The final round of the competition will be presided over
by 9th Circuit Judge Stephen R. Reinhardt. The semi and final rounds of the
competition are open to the public.
