October 7, 2004
Noon-2:00 PM
UCLA Student Activities Center Building Conferences Rooms
220 Westwood Plaza, Suite B36 (LGBT Campus Resource Center)

Civil unions become law in California on January 1, 2005. That law will change the legalities of your domestic partnership. UCLA and UCOP Human Resources Staff will talk about the new law and its effect on UCLA faculty and staff.

Invited Guests include:

  • Jennifer Pfizer, Lambda Legal Defense & Education Fund
  • Stuart Biegel, UCLA School of Law and School of Education
  • David Felderstein, California Senate Committee on Public Employment

DIRECTIONS: Find the Bruin Bear in the heart of UCLA campus, then look to the north east for the rainbow flags. The Student Activities Center is the building formerly known as the Men’s Gym. Enter through the doors of the LGBT Campus Resource Center (220 Westwood Plaza, Suite B36).

QUESTIONS: See the LGBT Campus Resource Center website or call (310) 206-3628.

Event is open to the public, and free of charge. Parking at UCLA costs $7/day.

Co-sponsored by the UCLA LGBT Campus Resource Center, the UCLA Faculty/Staff Network, and the UCLA Williams Project
