Course Description

LAW 274 - Trademark Law

This course is a two-credit introduction to U.S. trademark and unfair competition law. It covers federal trademark, trademark dilution, and unfair competition law. We will also discuss the conflicts between trademarks and the First Amendment, the federal trademark registration process, Internet domain names, and the right of publicity.
