Course Description

LAW 313 - Conflict of Laws

This course deals with legal conflicts arising in multistate transactions, both within the federal system and in the international sphere. The emphasis will be on choice of law, but recognition of judgments will also be given substantial attention, as well as special topics such as conflicts in family law, the "Erie problem", and international conflicts
