M. KATHERINE BAIRD DARMER EQUALITY SCHOLARSHIP
The scholarship (typically $5,000), which is sponsored by the Orange County Lavender Bar Association (OCLBA) and the Orange County Equality Coalition (OCEC), will award one or more scholarships each year to academically qualified law students who have demonstrated commitment to advancing equality for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community in Orange County.  Determinations regarding the amount and number of awards are at the sole discretion of the scholarship committee jointly appointed by OCLBA and OCEC and the Liberty Hill Foundation.

AAJ WOMEN FOR JUSTICE EDUCATION FUND'S 2016 MIKE EIDSON SCHOLARSHIP
The Scholarship, traditionally given in the amount of $5,000, is awarded annually to a rising 3L female student who has demonstrated a commitment to a career as a plaintiffs’ lawyer or criminal defense lawyer, along with dedication to upholding and defending the principles of the Constitution, and to the concept of a fair trial, the adversary system, and a just result for the injured, the accused, and those whose rights are jeopardized.
