UCLA Law Public Service Challenge

October 24 – November 3, 2021

We are encouraging the entire UCLA Law community – over 18,000 students, faculty, staff, and alumni strong – to participate by engaging in at least two hours of public service work between Oct. 24 and Nov. 3.

This is a great opportunity for all of us to give back and make a difference. We have organized over 30 amazing remote and in-person opportunities on our UCLA Law Track It Forward website. There are both legal and non-legal opportunities, ranging from helping to meet the housing crisis in LA to assisting asylum seekers from Afghanistan and Haiti. To participate in the challenge, simply 1) register at Track It Forward, 2) sign up for one or more events, and 3) complete your service!
Completing the challenge by doing two hours of public service will be your free ticket to attend this year’s U SERVE LA celebration! The event will be in the Shapiro Courtyard from 5:30 to 8:30 pm on Nov. 3, with free food, drinks, a DJ, and more (RSVP forms available after registration). Create a personal account to see all the volunteer opportunities listed by date, time, and activity (click “events” on the top menu bar). You can also download the Track It Forward app. Once you create an account, you can log on and sign up to volunteer.
