Heather Richardson co-teaches Introduction to the Lawyer-Client Relationship. She is currently partner in the Los Angeles office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP where she specializes in health care, insurance, and class action matters. She has also represented health plans and insurers in a variety of lawsuits and government inquiries on a wide range of issues including reimbursement policy, coverage determinations, quality of care, and provider contracting.

Richardson received her B.A. cum laude in Molecular, Cellular & Developmental Biology from Yale University, and her M.P.H. from UCLA School of Public Health where she was the recipient of the Ruth Roemer Social Justice Award. She earned her J.D. from UCLA School of Law where was president of UCLA Moot Court and received the Distinguished Advocate Award. She served as President of the Board of UCLA School of Law Alumni Association.
