Jenna Miara co-teaches Introduction to the Lawyer-Client Relationship. She is currently senior attorney at Strumwasser & Woocher LLP where she handles a broad range of litigation matters in state and federal court, with a focus in the areas of civil rights, wage and hour, employment discrimination, election, environmental, and constitutional law. She was previously partner at Hughes Socol Piers Resnick & Dym, LTD., and Senior Attorney at Legal Assistance Foundation in Chicago.
Miara earned her B.A. summa cum laude from Columbia University with Phi Beta Kappa honors, and her J.D. from Stanford Law School where she was a Public Interest Fellow. Following law school, she clerked for the Honorable Robert W. Gettleman of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
