Marjorie Menza teaches Legal Research, Writing, and Analysis for LLMs.
Menza served as senior associate in the litigation department at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP where she specialized in international dispute resolution and white collar crime criminal defense. She also served as legal consultant at Occidental Petroleum Corporation where she advised in the ongoing investment treaty dispute with the government of Ecuador. She was Pro Bono Counsel at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP where she supervised federal habeas corpus proceedings and is currently now a Consultant with the litigation department at Debevoise on a white collar matter here in Los Angeles.
Menza received her bachelor’s degree cum laude from Duke University, and was a McCracken Fellow at New York University. She graduated from Duke University School of Law magna cum laude where she served as staff editor for Law and Contemporary Problems.
