Phong Wong co-teaches Introduction to Lawyer-Client Relationship. She is the Pro Bono Coordinator at Legal Aid Foundation Los Angeles (LAFLA).  She oversees LAFLA's Pro Bono work and coordinates the firm’s pro bono cases and projects.  She also oversees the outreach, recruitment and hiring of volunteers. Before becoming Pro Bono Director, Wong worked in slum housing litigation, subsidized housing, housing redevelopment and eviction defense. Wong also worked on Access to Court Issues, including fee waiver and language access problems, while she was a fellow with both the Western Center on Law and Poverty and LAFLA.
