Sara Van Hofwegen co-teaches Introduction to Lawyer-Client Relationship. She is currently Supervising Staff Attorney in the Immigrants' Rights Project at Public Counsel, the nation’s largest pro bono law firm. In this capacity, she supervises Public Counsel’s direct legal services to unaccompanied children. She was previously Managing Attorney at Coalition to Abolish Slavery and Trafficking, and Staff Attorney at Americans for Immigrant Justice.

Van Hofwegen received her B.A. magna cum laude from Seattle Pacific University, and her J.D. Order of the Coif from USC Gould School of Law.
