Navy JAG Information Session

Description :

A  Navy JAG Officer will be on campus on Friday, February 7th for a lunchtime program at 12:00pm, room 1327, to provide an information session and to answer questions about a career with the JAG and the application process.   Pizza will be served, so please RSVP to kressh@law.ucla.edu by Wednesday, February 5, 2014.

 

The U.S. Navy JAG Corps is now accepting applications for full-time, post-graduate Navy JAG officer positions.  The Navy JAG Corps offers substantial levels of responsibility and trial experience early in one's career, travel opportunities, and a great quality of life.  Eligible 2L and 3L students are encouraged to apply.  The application, eligibility requirements, details about the process, and FAQs may be found online at www.jag.navy.mil/careers

The Navy JAG Corps student accessions program has one board remaining this school year for the spring.  All applications must be submitted online at http://www.jag.navy.mil/careers/careers/opportunities_sp.html 

 

After submitting an online application, JAG Corps candidates will participate in a structured interview with two JAG attorneys.  All applicants who submit a complete application will be extended an interview; however, the online application must be completed with all supporting documentation submitted before an interview can be scheduled. 

 

This semester interviews will be conducted on the 10th and 11th of February, 2014 at the Recruiting Office in El Segundo. 

 

In order to schedule an interview with the JAG Corps is in El Segundo, please complete your online application no later than Wednesday, February 5th.  After you have submitted your application, please send an email to Tashinda.richardson@navy.mil to schedule your interview.
