Looking In, Looking Out: Balancing Global and Local Priorities in the Current Political Climate
The Los Angeles Global Health Conference (LAGHC) is an annual global health conference hosted in Southern California. Organized by students from schools across Southern California including UCLA, USC, Claremont Graduate University, and UC Riverside, LAGHC seeks to educate, connect, and engage members of the Los Angeles community in addressing the health disparities both in our backyards and around the world.
This year's conference theme is Looking In, Looking Out: Balancing Global and Local Priorities in the Current Political Climate. We are excited to announce our keynote speaker- Dr. Mark Dybul, Professor of Medicine at Georgetown University, former Executive Director of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria, and one of the founding architects in the formation of the U.S. President's Emergency
Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR).
