Cara Horowitz of the Emmett Institute Comments on Supreme Court Decision on Greenhouse Gas Regulations in Daily Journal Article

June 25, 2014 -- Cara Horowitz, Andrew Sabin Family Foundation co-executive director of the Emmett Institute on Climate Change and the Environment, commented on the Supreme Court decision on greenhouse gas regulations. Her comments appear in a Daily Journal article.

But if the EPA was going to lose, this "was not a bad way to lose," said Cara A. Horowitz, a climate change expert at UCLA School of Law.

"EPA gets all the authority it wants and needs to continue its ... program," Horowitz said.

It also relieves the EPA's "headache" of how to regulate smaller sources of greenhouse gas pollution, she said.
