UCLA Law Alumna Receives MALDEF Scholarship

November 25, 2014 – UCLA Law alumna Ana Graciela Nájera Mendoza ’14 is a recipient of the 2014 Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF) Hernandez-Stern Law School Scholarship. It is awarded in honor of Antonia Hernandez ’74 and her husband, the Honorable Michael Stern.

Nájera Mendoza is currently an associate at Alexander Krakow + Glick LLP, which specializes in labor and employment law. She was a 2012 summer law clerk at MALDEF and was one of eight law students selected as a 2013 California Employment Lawyers Association Employee Justice Fellow.

The MALDEF scholarships support law students who seek to further MALDEF’s mission of advancing the civil rights of the Latino community.
