Professor Blasi Discusses Ordinances Allowing Confiscation of Homeless People's Property in Los Angeles Times Article

June 23, 2015 -- Professor Emeritus Gary Blasi commented on city ordinances that permit the confiscation of homeless people's property. His comments appear in a Los Angeles Times article.

"It's incredibly draconian," said retired UCLA law professor Gary Blasi, who has studied homelessness extensively and has represented homeless veterans in litigation against the Department of Veterans Affairs. "It's the kind of thing you'd expect in a little Southern town."
