Professor Salzman Cited in Washington Post Article on Diminishing Number of Drinking Fountains

July 13, 2015 -- Professor James Salzman's book, "Drinking Water: A History," is cited in a Washington Post article on the diminishing number of drinking fountains. Though fountains were once a stable feature of urban life, researchers have found that these water fountains have been disappearing from local communities and public spaces.

Professor Salzman, faculty at UCLA School of Law, says drinking water fountains are "going the way of pay phones."
