Three Articles by Professor Russell Korobkin Listed Among Top 25 Most Cited Contract Law Articles of Last 25 Years

September 10, 2015 – Three articles by Professor Russell Korobkin were listed among the “Top 25 Most Cited Contract Law Articles of the Last 25 Years,” in New Private Law, a blog by The Project on the Foundations of Private Law.  

The three articles cited include: “Bounded Rationality, Standard Form Contracts, and Unconscionability,” University of Chicago Law Review, 2003; “Status Quo Bias and Contract Default Rules,” Cornell Law Review, 1997 – 1998; and “Inertia and Preference in Contract Negotiation: The Psychological Power of Default Rules and Form Terms,” Vanderbilt Law Review, 1998.

The Project on the Foundations of Private Law is an interdisciplinary research program at Harvard Law School dedicated to the academic investigation of private law.  The blog post, a contribution of UC San Diego Law Professor Ted Sichelman, also provides the methodology used to compile the list.
