U.S. Supreme Court Justice Stephen G. Breyer to Visit UCLA School of Law for Conversation with the Dean

September 21, 2015 – United States Supreme Court Justice Stephen G. Breyer will visit UCLA School of Law on Tuesday, September 22nd for a Conversation with Dean Jennifer L.  Mnookin, the first event in a series of Conversations with the Dean to be held throughout the year.  He will discuss the work of the Supreme Court and his newly-released book, The Court and The World: American Law and the New Global Realities (Alfred A. Knopf, September 2015), which examines the global scope of the court’s work in an increasingly interconnected world. Justice Breyer will sign copies of his book following the invitation-only discussion. This is his second visit to UCLA Law; he gave a talk and participated in a Q&A discussion at the law school in September 2010.

Stephen G. Breyer is an associate justice of the United States Supreme Court.  He was nominated to the court by President Bill Clinton and assumed office in 1994.
