Professor Edward Parson Quoted in Christian Science Monitor on Canadian Company’s Request that U.S. State Department Delay Decision on Keystone XL Pipeline

November 3, 2015 – Professor Edward Parson was quoted in the Christian Science Monitor in a discussion about TransCanada, a Canadian company set to build the Keystone XL Pipeline and which requested that the U.S. State Department, which must approve cross-border projects, delay its decision until economic and political conditions improve.   

"In terms of the interests of proponents, those investing in the project, they don't need it now," said Parson. "A negative decision now would subtly harm or prejudice their position."
