Resnick Program for Food Law and Policy to Co-Sponsor Asia-Pacific Food Governance Symposium December 5 – 6 in Shanghai, China

 The Resnick Program for Food Law and Policy will co-sponsor an Asia-Pacific Food Governance Symposium on December 5 – 6, 2015 in Shanghai, China.  Michael Roberts, founding executive director of the Resnick Program, is a featured speaker and will give opening remarks.   

The conference will address a number of issues related to food safety, including the implementation of China’s food safety law and the social shared governance of food safety. 

Attendees of the “Asia Pacific Roundtable Third Session of Food Governance” will include law professors, legal experts and public policy officials from a number of Asian countries.

Along with the Resnick Program, co-sponsors include the Center for Coordination and Innovation of Food Safety Governance at Renmin University of China and the School of Law at East China University of Science and Technology.
